Unidentifiable mounting inside cubby box lid on Disco3
My recently acquired Disco 3 HSE has a mounting for some electronic item inside the lid of the centre console cubby box. (See photo in gallery) Does anyone have any idea what it is and

what is supposed to mount on it? (Sorry about the photo quality.)

Without looking it is probably the connector for the cell-phone mount.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

That’s what I thought, but I cannot find any module listed or advertised anywhere which would fit it.
There is also no trace of any phone mounting ever having been fitted in the vehicle.

Its for a mobile phone
Thats whats left when the cradle is removed
The cradle is obsolete these days as its for an old nokia 6330 or such like
I removed the cradle as the lid to the fridge wont shut properly if you have bottles in it
It was a standard fitting.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

think i still have the phone cradle somewhere that plugs onto that as i picked one up when i had my D3 and a phone that fits it. The only trouble is IIRC is it disconnects the phone bluetooth to your modern phone so you cant have both connected at once.D4 HSE Lux MY16 Club Waitomo
