Hi Mike, IKEA interested in how you find the new Pirelli ATR plus.
I have been running the original ATR (in a 19”) andfound them excellent on my D4.. Very quiet on the road, no different from standard road tyres in fac. Very slightly firmer ride. Seem very competent off road, I’ve had no problems doing the sort of stuff we do.
The are now MORE expensive that the new ATplus. I had to get a replacement due to ripping the sidewall on Fremington Edge. Cheapest I could find was £205. Just as well I only needed one!
Hope to see you out on a lane before too long. D4 2010 Nara Bronze

Graham, the AT+ seem very good on road, slightly less grip than the Scorpions on my D3, but that’s to be expected. They are definitely as quiet. Haven’t been off road with them yet, but I have no reason to believe that they won’t perform well, the style is similar to my Duratracs but slightly less tread depth.
The sidewalls appear to have good protection, similar to Duratrac as well. I think they are reinforced, but can’t remember for sure.
I seem to see that people are struggling to get them, particularly in some sizes, but tyreleader.co.uk had the best price and availability for my wheels. Not cheap though. One good thing is they are H rated.
Likewise, hope we catch up on some lanes soon. There are two rules for success,
1. Never tell everything you know.
D4 gone!
