I have been E-Mailing a few companies on the Grabber AT2 255/60/18. One company has sent this reply, dose anyone agree with this.
Paul,
The General Grabber AT2 is not made in the 255/60x18 yet, but it is not a problem to fit 255/55x18 AT2's which we have in stock, this is a conversion we have been doing for a couple of years on the Disco 3.
Cost is £138.65 each, this includes VAT and fitting, no other hidden charges.
There is only 5% difference in height so nothing to concern you.
Regards
Andy.
Also one company has suggested this tyre, has anyone got these on at the moment, and what are they like.
Bridgestone
4x4 Dueler Sport
255/60 R18 112V XL
With *******.co.uk only £ 129.50
Any replys would be helpfull. Arctic Frost Discovery 3 TDV6 SE, Active Rear Diff, Adaptive Head Lights, Tow Pack, Ebony Leather, Roof Rails, Mantec Guard. Tasmod Stainless Sill plates. Grabber AT's. Home made mud flaps. Side Steps back on until the next time.

4site 4x4 tyres who are linked from general tryre told me production starts end of feb and delivery here will be mid to late march.
Maybe Tim In Scotland would be best placed to comment on this, but if they dont start production until end of feb, I cant see how they would be made, put in a container, shipped here and delivered to tyre retailers in 2 - 4 weeks.

There is a problem with the tyres they are recommending. They do not meet the load rating for the D3...which is why peeps are waiting for the new size.
I advise you to steer clear of what they are suggesting 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I have just read that BFG have introduced an AT in 265/65R/18. Would this be a suitable size replacement. Have only seen it on their USA web site not the UK one, but I presume it would/could be available over here soon.
