Just getting to the point of having to replace my first set of tyres. Currently Pirelli Scorpion Zeros 255/55 VR19. Some interesting issues on checking on availability, to watch is that there are some HR rated tyres of that size (a lower speed rating) and also that the Pirellis are Extra Load Rating (to take the D3's weight?? ).
Could be an insurance issue if using non-homologated tyres even though the same size, so I intend sticking to Pirellis, although Michellins HR rated Synchrones are only about £120!!
One supplier quoted as much as £340 for a single Goodyear, but most have been under £200 for the Pirellis.
Anyone replaced these Pirellis yet to give me an idea of the likely average target price you have seen?

Hi Ecosse
I managed to screw K-fit in Edinburgh down to £130 each fitted after getting them to price match costco's Michellins. If you pick a quiet time they are usually ready to deal.

I know most 19's fitted appear to be VR, but LR brochure I have here states 19" alloys as an option come with HR (rated at 111H). The Goodyears fitted to mine are V's.
I paid £135 last October here in Brum for a wrangler 255/55x19 HR.

If you're not in a hurry you'll probably find it's cheaper to buy a new set of tyres on rims from ebay than just to replace the tyres The End

I don't think insurance companies care what tyres you buy providing thay have a speed rating that matches your vehicle. I went from V rated tryes to T rated tyres on my Grand Cherokee, told the insurance company but they didn't care.
