I know they're different constructions, but it's relevant as they are all available in sizes and speed ratings for the D3, the comparison is based upon three vehicles on the same tracks at the same time at the same speeds with roughly the same load

Yes, having three quite different tyres on the same vehicles over the same terrain is an interesting point of comparison. But even if all ran at the same pressure, or better yet relative pressure taking into account the differences then it wouldn't show us much about punctures and pressure. For that you'd want identical tyres and vehicles with the only variable being pressure, and given punctures aren't something that happens every five minutes a very long test. For example on a three-week outback trek I'd expect not to puncture a tyre at all, so picking up one or two between vehicles doesn't prove anything. As we all know avoiding a puncture can be a matter of millimetres, regardless of the pressure.
