The figures for my van running on 175R14C tyres are
MTPLM 1500kg
Max press 65 psi
Max Tyre Load 775kg
No. of Tyres 2
The formula gives 62.9 psi running pressure, and my handbook says 62 psi, and I have only got a single axle.
With a twin axle carrying probably not a huge amount more weight I certainly wouldn't pump yours up to 65 psi. MY12 D4 HSE Ipanema Sand

if you dont have it, you can download the owners handbook from the Swift group website here:
http://www.swiftgroup.co.uk/caravans/handbooks/owners-handbooks
unfortunately, they dont give tyre pressuers, I think they re in the service booklet, from which this is taken:
http://www.swiftgroup.co.uk/uploads/HandBo...202006.pdf
175/65 r14 82
44 psi
so appologies, typed 34 for mine, meant 44.

Ta all, I'll do the calculation D4mation posted when I pick the van up but looking like 40+ might be preferable but not 65. Pressures are in the sterling service book Al but only for the std 165/R13 not the 165/R13C which is what mine have on. Car still at the garage with collapsed wheel bearing so could all be academic anyway......
