Wished to quickly update this thread , TPMS all up and running

Looks like I also need to recheck the pressures vis what it says in the book, think it’s 33 front 36psi rear

Also used some tyre bead sealer on the front right tyre as I’ve had a very slow leak , so will be interesting to see if it works , until I get it fixed

The only way these caps can work is to keep the tyre valves open, which to me doesn't sound like a good idea.

Hi

Apologises as I didn’t word it correctly , have a very slow leak on the front right tyre , found a small area on the rim allowing air to escape , so added some bead sealer as a temporary measure

The monitors just screw onto the end of the tyre valves so not open , they do an optional T piece that can be fitted which allows u to fit a monitor on one end and also being able to top up the tyres without removing the monitor

Hope that helps

I have been using caps like these for a long time now and like the result (spotted a slow puncture early!)

No issues with loss of pressure when fitted.

The system I have is a solar powered display on the dash like https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Solar-Wireless-...4105066881

They do still seal well. I use a 6 monitor system when I go away, 4 on the D4 and 2 on the camper trailer. No issues with leaks from the monitors at all, and I’m traveling at speed on unsealed roads.

The only downside I’ve found is that the monitors hit against the wheel causing damage to the lacquer.

Hi

Many thks and good to know Thumbs Up

See Fobo do quite a range, including pushbikes, spare tyres and also on some, being able to connect to an Apple Watch

https://my-fobo.com/

Later will get the T connectors fitted to make like easier when inflation is req, also wonder @ Kelvo
if it will prevent them hitting the rim

Well that’s annoying

Have the app on my iPhone and pressed fobo share so I could have it on my iPad and the tyre display part has disappeared

Now just have the home screen with nothing on it, looks like it has lost the sync

Was working perfectly before hand , been trying to find details but alas nothing yet

Batteries are all new

Wondering if anyone has come across this plse

Many thks
