Tyre help/advice AT2’s and AT3’s

Hi all,

Looking for a bit of advice on tyres. I currently have grabber AT2’s all round but need to replace one tyre (front right) I can’t seem to buy another AT2 in my size (have they stopped production?). What I wanted to do was buy one new tyre, replace the front right, and put the spare (new) on the front left and use the older front left as the spare.

I can get AT3’s in my size (255/60/18)

My options as I see them;

1. Buy one AT3 and use it as in the original plan above
2. Buy one AT3 and stick it on the back opposite a new AT2
3. Buy 2 AT3’s so I have the same tyres on the same axle - front or back?

Any advice, comments or different options most welcome!

Thanks in advance!

Buy two. I had to do this recently when a sidewall got ripped out, it was at the back so I paired the back.had it been the front then I think I woul still have put the AT3’s at the back so far so good.

That’s great thanks. Have ordered two AT3’s and I’ll stick them on the back.
