Hi

As a side note don’t know if you’ve already got new O ring , but I bought a set the other day , just cheaper than buying them individually

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/205pc-HNBR-O-Ri....l4275.c10

Hope u get on ok, alas I’ve got a leak somewhere in mine , have got a new condenser which I’m going to fit then go from there in searching for the leak

Also a link for the parts if it helps , expansion valve JQD500010

http://new.lrcat.com/#!/12128/45758/45786/3557/45802

Hope it helps

Ur welcome

Ive just seen that ref the compressor and looks a right Censored to get out

My ac system is empty so going to put a few psi in via my small air compressor , has an in-line dryer on it as well then go round everything with soapy water before committing to fitting the condenser

Know I shouldn’t really use air but system is empty anyway , think it’s nitrogen is the proper stuff to find leaks

But once I hopefully find the leak ( replace condenser) will then pull a vacuum and get it regassed properly

Is there any manuals etc u need as I can normally find bits if it helps in any way Thumbs Up

Ps, shame ur not closer as we could have done an AC day Rolling with laughter

This is the pic that shows it elsewhere , having a search , hopefully it’s not under the dashboard ???

The expansion is part number JQD500010

Yep, looks like the expansion valve is hidden under the upper dashboard but please let me keep digging to ensure that’s 100% accurate

Number 2 is Thermostatic expansion valve
Number 1 is the cabins evaporator

Number 1 is the cabins evaporator

100% is fitted inside the cabin I’m afraid , under the upper dashboard panel

Apologises for the miss information earlier

Plus just thought , assume they tested the pressure sensor to ensure that’s working correctly and sending the correct voltages to ur control panel

Been trying to find a test sheet so u can at least put a multimeter on relevant points to ensure 100% ur compressor is at fault

Just starting to find out more info for u

REFRIGERANT PRESSURE SENSOR

The refrigerant pressure sensor provides the ATCM with a pressure input from the high pressure side of the refrigerant system. The refrigerant pressure sensor is located in the refrigerant line between the condenser and the thermostatic expansion valve.

The ATCM supplies a 5 V reference voltage to the refrigerant pressure sensor and receives a return signal voltage, between 0 and 5 V, related to system pressure.

The ATCM uses the signal from the refrigerant pressure sensor to protect the refrigerant system from extremes of pressure and to calculate A/C compressor load on the engine. The ATCM also transmits the A/C compressor load value to the Engine Control Module (ECM), via the medium speed CAN bus, instrument pack and high speed CAN bus, for use in controlling the speed of the engine cooling fan.

Some readings which I hope will help for u to compare

This was when my system was first recharged , sensor reads 5 volts , so just thought with ur iid can at least see how they compare

Have u been able to see if the compressors pully spins or not yet
