Turn your Iphone into a mobile router

If your phone is jailbroken grab PDNnet from cydia.

You can now join computers to your 3G connection as if your iphone was a router.

Full instructions on the link below, works like a charm.

You can do this for free on any 3G phone which has an internet data stream - simply bluetooth (or IR if you'r really unlucky) it to your PC as a connection and setup an Internet Dial Up Connection (*99# is the dial code) over it and away you go

you can if you have bluetooth. Neat thing about this app is you dont need bluetooth and you can have more than 1 connection. Handy if you have 2 kids in the back with psp's Mr. Green

there are apps that will stream video from the camera live to the web yes, grab QIK from cydia.

In terms of a hotspot, well its a router so that would be a yes bearing in mind a more limited range as your running on battery power.

Not sure the benfit of running a web server on it but Apache has been ported to Iphone.

There is free software that allows using any Series 60 Nokia handset as WiFi Hotspot here
http://www.joiku.com/

I guess since WiFi cameras are usually running web servers it should be possible to "pair" phone and camera via WiFi and watch the video in the browser .
