My logic is:
No having to have a Turkey defrosting in the kitchen for days
No having to get up early to put the Turkey in the oven
No juggling space in the oven
No having to keep poncing about basting it and other stuff
No huge Turkey with half a breast eaten cluttering up the kitchen
No endless Turkey based meals over Xmas
No picking all the last bits of meat off to freeze or make a curry out of
No huge carcass stinking up the bin until the fortnightly bin collection finally happens after the Xmas break
Two nice Turkey breasts cooked on Xmas day, one for dinner and one for cold meats and pickles Boxing day........makes perfect sense to me!!
That's were it all went wrong 'logic' - whatever were you thinking of

Sounds a reasonable plan. We're having ham, egg and chips for christmas dinner.
Can I come round to your house please, It sounds like my ideal anytime of the year dinner
In reality I will be on our annual 650 mile round trip to see the in-laws and it will inevitably be turkey and all the trimmings.
Happy Christmas everyone.

Turkey is defrosting, other frozen stuff to come out tomorrow. Will be good to be able to open the freezer without something trying to escape.
