Just curious.
What kind of performance does it give you?
TDV6 gives about 190 hp and 440 Nm of torgue. What kind of numbers will those boxes go?
Edit: and how about the price for those boxes?===============

Think you are ALL getting ya lines crossed................I know nowt about a TUNING BOX, but was told to stay clear of them as they tend to up the pressure on the fuel rail and hence the extra performance. I guess some do other things than just doing that.
B A S do remaps, as does 10forCash with Torque Tune. Both are great products, the car is tuned through the ECU and is no need for a Box. B A S has an advantage as you get a DigiBox to plug into the D3 and you can swap to your hearts content from Standard to Tuned and Back again.
Thus giving you Big Smiles

I think that's the same idea that our local "tuning guru" is doing. So there isn't any extra box, just change the software to ECU. Only thing you need to do is to buy that box. Not a bad idea. You can change the sw as often as you like, if I understod correctly?
Here you dont buy any "Gameboy", just the sw and it's installed directly to ECU. They promise 190 hp -> 231 hp and 440 Nm -> 520 Nm.
Do you know what kind of numbers you can get with that BAS remaps?===============

On what fact you base your reply? You dont even know what local SW I'm refering to?
I just want to know what kind of numers the BAS system can give you. I know that you can modify the software so that you get more than enough power out of the engine, but what are the reliable numbers?===============

We ALL base it on the Amount of USERS on this Forum, ALL testify to Pete Bells workmanship, 24/7 help, and continued development. To Pete Bell we aint just customers, unlike alot of people that tend to up your D3 by upping pressures.
Beggers Belief that people seem to wanna use NON Site Sponsors that are tried n tested, and dictate the sales jargon that they were given.
I will stay with my BAS Kit thanks
In answer to your question, why not give Pete Bell a pm, he will give you the figures you so crave, he can do many types of remaps to suit your needs, but most of us went for the same...........More power, better economy.

I'm not trying to badmouth BAS nor Pete Bell. I have no experience from either one so thats why I was just asking. I'm just curious and I want to know things before ordering.
And I'm not trying to get you to change your "systems"
BAS might be _the_ best. I just dont know and I'm trying to get some kind of picture what are the pros and cons and compare those to our local dealers remaps.
Because I'm not from UK I have to also think which way is the most cost effective for me and also easyest way.
I'll write PM to Pete and ask those figures.===============

Pete did A LOT of D3's......
And as said....he knows what the 2.7 can and can not have....
I have a lot of local tuners overhere in Belgium....eitherway I went for Pete's solution...
Why, because the results are here, written on this forum, more prove then this you will never get anywhere else.
They all promise heaven....but I will stay with the little power-devil called BAS....
