Trying to trace a garage in nottingham
I'm just going through my service book and the last two have been done by the same garage in Nottingham called NORTHVIEW 4x4 SPECIALIST. It lists the address and everything including the phone number on the stamp but the phone number has smudged.
I'm a little concerned that the cambelt change it says it's had may be bogus hence me trying to contact them.
Has anyone heard of this company?
I can't find any proof of the garage on google or via its address on the stamp. The phone number that it could be is also dead?

The address exists but no company seems to be linked to it? The smudged number, the most legible I can make it calls a door company? Same estate also.
If someone could have a look it'd be very much appreciated.

You could try ringing DG taxis they are based at little tennis street and would probably know! D3 x2 now gone

I believe that if you have Google Earth installed, with some areas of the country you can look back in time.
Maybe you can look around the estate at a previous date to see where the garage was.
By default, Google Earth displays the most up-to-date imagery available.
You can view historical imagery so that you can see how places have changed over time.

Streetview shows a number of companies in the units there. Perhaps ring one and ask if they've heard of them?

We used to work with a telecoms company on that estate. Every time I went there, there seamed to be different businesses there. It's not the biggest estate & if I'm around that area, I'll swing by & have a look. I don't remember anyone like that - when were the service stamps?
Looking on Companies House, there's no reference to NORTHVIEW 4x4 SPECIALIST so I guess it was a trading name of another garage. Is there any other info on the stamp?
TBH, I'd get someone else to have a look at the cam belt anyway - last thing you need is for it to break.

Here's the stamp, I called the number today who were a door company who had been at the address for a number of years. I'm beginning to fear I may of been had, there are previous stamps from stratstone Bristol but this is a replacement book so may not even be for this car.

I'm still awaiting the log book back, only had the car a short while. I bought the car from a dealer near Stevenage. Hoddesson motor company. This is one of their lower end cars though.
The previous owners name was one that to me doesn't sound like someone who would scrimp when it comes to what the car needs, it certainly drives, sounds and feels A1. After a quick look underneath when putting steps on at the weekend it's had a recent from airbag, certainly newer then the rest but well before the time the dealer got the car, it's got matching Goodyear tyres which to me speaks volumes about a car also.
I'm confident I've not bought a pup, I just don't like feeling like I've had the wool pulled over my eyes.
