Mate I'm in Nottingham and there are a few independent garages etc down there mercs, bikes, and the like I can have a look in next couple of days and I'll let you knowD3 Java black HSE now gone

I'll keep eyes on here too Aaron as its just round the corner from me, as you say, there are a few small time back street garages down there, but still nothing resembling on google

I've just been looking at the Internet on this one and that phone number from log book looks like 0115 9580768 which is listed as a number for a company called access doors , but will check for you in next few daysD3 Java black HSE now gone

Just had a run down here & nothing at all mate, there's a few bodyshop repair units etc & majority have got business name boards up.

Time to have a chat with Trading Standards me thinks It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
I think you should raise the issue with the dealer from whom you bought the car & trading standards if their response is not 100%.
I would also contact the previous owner(s) to check the mileage & service history.

No update as such, as the last service was well before the mileage I bought the car with and the date before the garage got the car I'm not going to waste my effort contacting the garage. I know what their answer would be, and to be fair should be, this probably happened before they got the car.
I have however received the logbook and emailed the previous owner, I googled the name and I'm almost 100% I have the correct person, time will tell if I get a reply

Hiya I think we have got the same problem from the same place with this stamp! Also advising the cambelt has been changed. Did you get to the bottom of it? Any help would be great as only brought the car yesterday!!

Someone has mentioned that it may be a mobile guy, theres a few that sell their services on here and are known by their user names but I wouldnt know their business names so it could be along the same lines?

This car was in south London and the northview servis specialist is in Nottingham. PeteHse who wrote the below has brought from the same place and now we have the same thing. The number is for a window company it's exactly the same issue as PeteHse had so I would like to know if he got to the bottom of it.
