Trip Computer suddenly changed from KM to MILES

Please excuse me if this has been covered before, but my Trip Computer has today changed from KM to Miles for Range, Trip and Average Speed. I have checked the manual to find how to change this back to KM, but here is where the Problem is. I have a 2005 SE Australian model, there are no radio button controls on the steering wheel. The Manual tells me that I need to use these buttons to change the personalised settings in the Trip Computer. Is there any other way for me to change this display back to KM or is it yet another warranty trip back to the Dealer??? Thanks.

Have you swapped the key recently - my last car (BMW) had a feature where units/seat settings/radio stations were linked to the key. When I swapped keys I had to reprogram all of my settings - of course this was only a problem when it first happened and was really puzzled until I twigged what was going on.

Use the buttons on the CD player next track/previous track.

Had the same issue with the keys when on hoilday in Europe - set everything up in km and then all of a sudden it would seem to revert back to imperial! Didn't realise that these settings were stored with the key like the seat and mirror position until then.

The same thing has happened to mine and it after I took it in for a scheduled service and had asked them to turn On the speed lock feature. In my case only the fuel consumption is in metric. I believe during the service they must have download or changeed the parameters incorrectly. For Aus SE discos, changing those parameters is a dealer job.

Took it back to the Dealer today. They spent about 30 minutes trying to reset it to KM, but couldn't. They say that it needs a new entire instrument pack. Natuarlly, the part is not in stock so has to be ordered in. Seems overkill to replace the entire instrument pack to simply reset a computer, but that seems to be what Land Rover does!!
