HELLO DISCOGUYS !!
YSDY, WHILE I WAS DRIVING OFF-ROAD ON A MIX SNOW/MUD TERRAIN,
ON LOW RANGE AND GEAR BOX ON COMMAND SHIFT, HAD MY F I R S T
''BONG'' (AFTER 8000KM ''BONKGLESS'') FOLLOWED BY A MESSAGE
ON CENTRE DISPLAY ''TRANSMISSION FAULT''. HAD NO ALTERNATIVE ON THT ROAD BUT TO CONTINUE, AND AFTERWHILE I CHANGED NORMALY
FRM LOW TO HIGH W/OUT PROBLEM(BUT STILL THE (i) MAINTAINED ON
DISPLAY. AFTER ABT 7 KM STOPPED AND SWITCHED OFF THE ENGINE FR ABT
1 HOUR, RESTARTED AND NO PROBLEM SO FAR (TESTED OFCOURSE TO CHANGE AND DRIVE SOME 1 KM ON LOW RANGE W/OUT ANY PROBLEM. )
HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED SMTHING LIKE THT ???
AND SOULD I HV TO WORRY, AND VISIT MY DEALER SERVICE FR CHECK IT OUT ??? OR WAS JUST A ''BONG'' FRM MY BELOVED CAR TO REMIND ME
THT NEED TO BE MORE GENTLY WITH HER!!!!

What was the outside temp that day? I have never had a transmission error while wheeling it yet.

could just be high transmission fluid temperature or a sensor not 'reporting back' quickly enough unless you get a serious mechanical failure, the D3 will not leave you stranded, transmission -wise

THKS VM MATES !!
THE OUTSIDE TEMP WAS ABT 0 C, ANYHOW FEEL THT AS PER 10FC SAID
WAS JUST A MOMENTUM MISS REPORT, WHICH AFTER THE RESET
WORKING AGAIN PERFECTLY AND NOT BONG SO FAR.
THKS VM ONCE AGAIN FR SUPPORT
P.S: THE CAR IS JUST FANTASTIC ON/OFF ROAD AND WITH THEIR STANDART PIRELLI ZERO.
