Shocked How long have TransK9 been site sponsors?

Do site users get any discounts/benefits, if so how? Whistle

I'm on my second box (had one for my D2). Superb bit of kit - can't recommend enough. Completely silent (no buzzing/rattling), and my D3 is spotless in the back and doesn't smell. Thumbs Up Also handy when leaving anything valuable in the boot for a bit when the dogs aren't in!

I have just bought a second hand TransK9 box for my Disco3 which arrived today.

It really is a quality bit of kit.

It replaces a Coopet fabric kennel:-

http://tinyurl.com/39v78u6

which I will keep for the occasional night away when I need a cage in a hotel for my flatcoat.

Interestingly the flatcoat much prefers the TransK9 to the Coopet in the car, possibly because the latter can lean somewhat on hard cornering, whilst the TransK9 is totally stable.

Thanks Rob

Since mum has had seven puppies, we couldn't not keep one....So now landed with two Labradors...and only a single TransK9 box - and need a B12 (double) for our Disco 4, as well as being able to get rid of our single one (that was for a Volvo XC90). keeping my eyes peeled, but if you have one for sale...PM me!!

Thanks.

great, thank you. B10 is the luxury high one, which is great apart from the fact that it leaves no room in the boot for anything else.....Are you finding that?

TransK9 Dog Boxes for Discovery 4

Rich,

For returning customers we offer you the option of advertising your existing box for sale on our website - we get a lot of hits and the boxes usually sell pretty fast and for good money! We do ask for a donation to our fundraising page in return and that you purchase a new box of course! http://www.transk9.com/index.php/used/

If you would like have a chat regarding options please don’t hesitate to call me at your convenience.

The B28 may be a good box for you - still leaves some room at the side for storage but is wider than your B22 £350 including VAT.

Hi Rob,

B28 - That could work too - just need my babies to have enough room for some long journeys that I undertake.

Looking at all the alternatives it occurred to me that the B24 might fit alongside our current box....the one that you supplied to me for an XC90 about 4 years ago and whether that leaves enough room for the B24 in our Disco 4 but I suspect not. There is also the issue of the door opening potentially being in the same direction on each box, rather than the mirror. I will have to wait until I get within site of car and current box.....Oh the excitement!!

Rich,

You probably have the B22, a 24" wide box for the Volvo - the B24 is 21" wide so won't fit in beside the B22

The B22 in Discovery looks like this:

yes, looks exactly like that...and now I see it I realise that it won't work...

Sad

there is of course the ultimate luxury scenario of two boxes side by side (B24?). do two B24s fit side by side? That would allow me on the shorter journeys not to have both boxes in the car and still use the 6th seat. I'm assume the double boxes are one piece/frame?

Rich,

Two x B24 would fit side by side, but how often will you take just one dog? Or would your two fit in the B24? It's taller and has more volume than your current box for sure so maybe that would work:

B24 with Boxer and Boy!

Yes, the double box is one piece.

you can put boys in too??? Shocked Brilliant!!! Mr. Green

Hi Sharon, its more about storage at home of a double box when not in use, and if it's just for a short journey the dogs (and boys) can share one b24 box, but when we go on long trips, we use two b24
