I’ve gone round and round with this, I understand the advantage Semenya gains, but then is that any different to a tall basketball player or small jockey. I would agree that if she’s physically female, then so what, but then I saw the reaction of other female athletes and it was utter despair that because of the heightened testosterone, they can’t get near her.
If she is a freak of nature, then a decision had to be made by the governing body and unfortunately it’s a Catch 22.
