Trailer attached question

My 10MY D4 HSE, has a genuine multi height tow bar and N&S electrics. When I select mud and ruts on the terrain response, it recommends low range is selected (all normal so far). Then when select low range you would expect the suspension to automatically lift; but I get a message saying (along the lines of) trailer attached suspension not automatically rising.

No trailer is attached, so what is happening?

Nothing is plugged into or fouling towing electric sockets.

Any ideas? Will this be effecting throttle response or gear shift patterns?

Cheers

Mark.

Sounds like a software clitch or wiring issue

It is doing what it's supposed to when it recognises something is plugged in the towing electrics .

Just check the multiplugs in the rear boot cubby hole ( passenger side) are pushed in correctly

I have exactly the same problem on my MY12 D4 SE although I don't have any towing electrics. Went to dealers for a software update but the problem is still there. Do you know what exactly was updated on yours ?

On the D3 when you select mud & ruts and low ratio, the suspension does not rise automatically with a trailer attached, you have to raise it manually.
