Trade Jump Start Pack - Lithium Ion
Ok, so this is not for the faint hearted, so if you have deep pockets or a reason to have one of these in your glovebox....Just launched by Sealey and we will do them for the price shown inclusive of VAT rather than plus as the leaflet shows.

Very interesting. Link to the spec. sheets would be handy Wondering if one of these fully charged on the battery is a viable alternative to 25A charger for programming. However, looks a bit small to be up around 300Wh mark. That's if it is even rated more than a minute continuous. Handy unit though if you can put a inverter on it and the USB output is more than 2A.

Agreed link to spec sheet
We've tried various 'conventional' jump start units in the past and have found that modern units don't have the staying power of the older ones - I suspect that Clarke/Sealey/Draper all come out of similar factory. Interested to see what the CCA capacity is on the LIon packs as I suspect that the 'dud' units are all suffering from the 'battery memory' issues.Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE

When I get 30 or so I will get everything I have on them on our website, seen one in action, impressive enough for a lightweight! Will start about 15 Disco sized cars on a charge and because of the Li-Ion should not be a memory issue or a gone flat when needed issue.
It is a connect await for the lights and press the start button rather than a continuous operation.Paul Redding

Thanks Steve
As Geoff says - very nice looking (if a little eye watering) - what is the warranty likely to be on these units?
Cheers

Looking at the specs it suggests that only the largest will do for a 6 cylinder diesel, is this the consensus?
Looks neat though.

That's the conclusion I came to Robbie - my concern is that I was wanting to use it to jump some large 8Cyl boat diesels. Have suggested to local yard that they may wish to invest in one (then I can try it out )Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE
