I have insured my car via NatWest and they have insisted that I have a tracker fitted before providing cover against theft. I have a TD6 HSE which just tips 43K. Are all companies insisting on this?

Gasdoc - neither E-sure nor More Than insisted on Tracker (Esure was only about £300 as well!) May depend however on location & your past insurance record?
PS - also try LandRover Insurance (they are provided by Royal Sun Alliance I think who own More Than anyway!)

I had the same request from Zurick, but told to try landrover and NFU who dont need it. The broker I use also found another one for £460 who didnt need it (HSE). I have heard that tracker can cause problems on a D3, checked with my dealer and he said LR do not recommend it and they have found it can cause electrical problems so he would not advise fitting it but would do it if I insist. I know there is a forum member here Gareth I think and his seems OK. I am staying clear until I find out more information. The last thing I want to do is introduce anything that may upset the electrics

I bought my D3 as a 5 day old demonstrator. The dealer had already fitted a tracker and it hasn't caused any problems so far. TDV6 HSE Java Black
