Towing option?

According to Topix my car (d4 gs) was built with TOW HTH FIXED HEIGHT SWAN NECK and
12N 7PIN ELEC SOCKET/HARNESS ,yet there is no visible towbar on the car, is it a removable item that was removed before i purchased the car? cheers

The easy way to check is to use a 2p coin and unclip the panel where the removeable tow bar would fit in the centre of the rear bumper. The multi pin socket is fitted there.. Alternatively remove the left hand interior panel in the boot where the removeable tow hitch should be secured. There should also be some wiring inside this panel with 5 fuses on it... That will be the towing electrics fuse board. More often than not it is just the tow hitch which is missing normally ebayed by a previous owner... There will always be loads on there to replace if missing!

Thanks alot for the info, that is probably what has happened , how much is the going rate for a new/ebay hitch?

Mine has a 15A and the info on the panel shows 15A

So where did 30 Amp come from Question
