Towing
Just did my first bit of serious towing: just under 3,500kg on the hook. I have to say that the performance was outstanding, and far and away superior to the DII TD5, which was impressive. Only noticed a 0.2mpg drop in the average fuel consumption, and this was all on small A and B roads.
Well pleased, and off for a pint to congratulate myself on the my choice of vehicle.
(I'd have a pickled egg too, but we tried BN's elastic band trick on a girt big jar and it didn't work......)

We all agrfeed yesterday that the D3 is fantastic and have pictures to prove it.
Re the elastic band, you do have to exert some force, but then if you push pens all day, it may be a little more difficult. Do you want me to send little 5 down and he could open it for you?

I only buy drinks in person, you'll just have to come to one of the Disco 3 events, won't you?
Athough i'll gladly pay for you to take one of the 5's off me hands...
Cheers,

I was very much hoping to be there yesterday - but my aunt was 70 all of a sudden, and there was a three line whip to attend a family lunch....
No worries about the reluctance to fund my drinking habits; I've decided it is too nice and there are better things to do, so I am going to change the drive belts and blades on the topper instead. (Not working this week, before you ask).
I will also try and dig out a couple of pics that will disappoint your Rumpole image of me.....

I will come on the first away day that I can...as you know, I'd have been there yesterday if I could have.
If we can get the Bovington idea off the ground, I might bring this toy along:
