Just had a tow bar and 13 pin electrics fitted to my XXV.
Guy fitting did not have the spacer required to fit first visit.
Second visit was unable to program the car to turn off reversing sensors.
Waiting for phone call back as he says a update to his hand held unit is required ?
Not very impressed so far.
Does anything else need to be programmed for towing ?
What do I need to check when he returns ?

Great thanks for that, it's a 2009 twin axle Bucaneer hence the need for the XXV, and it only has normal lights not led's. 😊

Was on the phone to towbbars2u today they inform me that landrover won't release the software needed to program my XXV to the firm that supply their programming unit, I have forgotten the name ?
After a bit of hassle and the threat of small claims court they have agreed to pay the £150 bill landrover require to program the car.
which is a result 😊

Unless the electrics are genuine I'd be surprised if the dealer would enable them

Well towbar2u state genuine landrover loom is used, that's what I paid for, booked in for 11th to be programmed will find out for sure then, if it's not I feel a small claims form being filled in unless they refund or pay for a new loom ?
