I have a Thule 5 bike carrier that fits into the standard tow bar hole, and is one of the few carriers that can cope with 5 bikes. I would recommend this solution if you don't need to carry bikes and tow at the same time.2005 D3 TdV6 HSE Buckingham Blue

I went for the Atera Strada unit from the Roofbox Company.
Thule 903 is pretty good too. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Maxx Raxx for me
We bought a MaxxRaxx to go on the adjustable tow bar on the back of our 110 Double Cab. Great piece of kit.
Get's my vote!

yup they are, and Max is the boss...surprisingly
Excellent for spares and extras as well. Easy to use teh rack once you have got the hang of it. Can tilt down but very heavy when all bikes on it.
make sure the installer is upto scratch though end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......
