Tow Trust TL1 tow bar and LR005741 drop plate

Guys, I've just bought myself a new trailer and I need to lower my tow ball to help it sit level.

I have the Tow Trust TL1 tow bar fitted like below (not my picture)



And I'm wondering if any one has either fitted the drop plate LR005741 to one

Or, alternatively, has anyone got one that could measure the vertical distance between the top pair of mounting bolt holes

Tricky one this: The Tow Trust towbar is not rated for use with a longer drop plate, not even the one they sell. I ordered the towbar and drop plate from them and they came back with that response. I stuck to my LR default model. 2016 D4 Landmark SDV6 (Euro6), Zanzibar (late run D4)
2009 D4 HSE TDV6, Bali blue (first run D4)
2007 RRS TDV8 HSE, some blue

Oh, that's interesting to know

I might just raise the Tow hitch on the trailer instead then D3 V8 with active rear diff

That's not really a drop plate from Land Rover, it's more complicated. I've not fitted it to mine as I need to run a ball and pin and you can't with that fitted.

I have seen a D3 fitted with a Dixon Bate adjustable onto the LR Heavy Duty tow bar and I'm thinking of it for mine. 1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8
