Gaza - have you hooked up the lights on your Strada? Any idea what it costs to have the necessary electrics fitted to the car?
Also - where do you go to get a number plate made up?
Looks great by the way. 2010 D4 HSE

With number plates you need to take relevant docs to an authorised number plate maker, like Halfords, or go on fleabay and type in number plates, there are companies that allow you to add signatures, logo's e.t.c. with next day delivery for around a tenner

The maxxrac doesnt give enough room for the alko hitch to work.
If you do put them on the roof, be warned its a long way up !
If you have the fixed hitch it does with an extension piece to lift the bikes up. I carry 4 bikes between my car and Fleetwood heritage, you also need a spacer between the ball and the hitch DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Nope. nothing at all.
I've used it 3 times now with various purchases.
I am of course a Tamba member though.

I purchased the electrics from The Large One at Yeovil. Normal forum discount applied. Others say DIY is very easy but as I was getting some other work done I had 10forCash fit it.
I had a spare plate from an old car (I have a personal plate) so used that.

I've got a detatchable tow bar from LR which works fine when towing my caravan, I have looked at a fixed tow bar and bike carrier made by Witter, both can be purchased from http://www.pfjones.co.uk/ for around £200. what do you think of that idea?

Looks good, but not much use if you need to tow a caravan at the same time.
