Tow Assist Help
OK, I've got Tow assist all sorted and working, especially after my early issues with it not being enabled originally.
However, I kind of stuck with how to use the tracking target. I've printed the copy that was uploaded on here but I'm stuck as to where to stick it
The manual states that...
The sticker MUST be attached according to specific instructions. Ask your Land Rover Dealer for details.
I can't find any info on where to stick it on, does anybody have any photos or info on where to actually place the sticker?
Cheers
Steve

When you activate the tow assist a red (think) target is seen that is impossed on the front of the trailer/caravan, a second person then needs to place the target on the trailer whilst the person in the car looks at the screen, the target should go in the highlighted area.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

So it doesn't stay on the trailer? I thought it was supposed to be attached semi-permanently?
I was playing more than anything else but didn't seem to get any advantage from it to be honest. I tried taping it to the rear of the actual hitch but I'm guessing the camera couldn't see it - is it supposed to be just over the actual hitch itself?

I'm still struggling with this - anybody got a photo of a trailer with one on it to give some ideas?
I know this sounds daft but I tried placing it behind the hitch on the a-frame / brake section of the trailer and the camera couldn't see it but surely putting it on the handle grip of the hitch will mean I can't get to the hitch without removing the tracker.
Or am I getting this completely wrong and the tracker should be vertical somehow?

That's perfect, I had got the wrong end of the stick.
Why can't they give that info with the vehicle / manual!?!
Cheers, much appreciated, I'll have a play again tomorrow

Not being facetious, but seriously, if you can reverse a trailer in your sleep, beyond better viability from the rear, how does tow-assist help, or is it just designed for people who can't reverse...? (genuine question).2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +

Gotta say, I'm not sure of how useful it is but it's another toy and it's there so I've gotta try it!
56 trailers to move week after next and no electrics will be connected let alone any electronic toys, the cameras are damn useful for hitching and unhitching single handed though and it's good to know the capabilities of the systems.

Made myself some laminated stickers up to be used with gaffa, probably never get used in reality but never mind!
