But it rains mainly on the plains in Wales, and mountains, hills, valley's, beaches etc etc Wink

The halfords stuff- three stick touch up is pretty good for scratches and stone chips, I had my vehicle keyed all along one side in the train station car by some well wisher.

The kit comes with a fine nib (a bit like a fine liner pen which is great for the scratch) and a small brush, you just keep building up the layers until just proud and then rub back with abrasive pad included (it took a bit of guts to do it at first as it left a white swirl)

once level and blended into paint work i t cut the area and then waxed and you wouldnt know on all the panels apart from the deepest part that doesnt reflect well in bright sunshine. but the cost compared to a respray was pretty good.

(by the way the police actaully took the trouble to go back through the cctv to try and catch the vilain, no luck though as the d3 was facing away from the camera, but top marks for giving it a go.)

If you get the Halfords stuff (I agree it's good as I used it on another car), then it's worth forking out a couple of quid for a thinner paintbrush (they sell them too) it's much easier to work with than the one attached to the lid of the paint.
