Does any one know if "touch up paint sticks" are

After being told by my Dealer that they are no longer available, and getting a friend to acquire it and
post out from England.........I mentioned this to a Brisbane Dealer who said they are available !!
I approached my local Dealer again and the store guy ordered one from the same computer
that said "No" the previous month . WTF.
Now I've got two sets ,since I couldn't do anything about the UK set in transit......logistics !!
Who the he l can you believe in these Dealerships

They won't be able to post it Norto.
Aussie Post don't touch "all sorts of things" ,these days.
Austral LR Parts in Brisbane said they can't post it out.......collection only.. which is why I got up my Dealer !
I suggest you don't take "No" as an answer from your local Dealer.
Consider contacting the Importer with this info.
Good luck Mate !

Gents, my local LR approved repair shop was happy to mix up about 50ml of paint and supply it in a little bottle like nail polish comes in. Get this..... no charge! So drop by your local panel beater if the dealer is giving you a a hard time.
What's the point.... it all comes out in the wash anyway!

Automotive paint suppliers will also make up touch up paint for a few dollars. I did this for a Subaru when I couldn't get the grey colour paint used on the bumpers
Codes should be on the plates on the D3 somewhere.

Land rover had a kit that had a paint pen and a clear pen pen.
You put the paint on and then put the clear over the top. Pete

They got me the two pencil set : Atacama Gold colour pen and a Clear top coat pen in the usual
LandRover made in Germany Box.
Now when they said there was nothing doing,I had "eyeballed" a Java Two pack on the
counter for someone else.......I pointed this out and was told my colour was not on the
Microcat disc.
I assumed Atacama was new and believed them.....for a while....until Austral said they
are all available......I'd contacted them about G4 plates and prices.....that's another story
I then returned to Trinity LR and got a different Guy,who just typed it in and said
"Tomorrow ex. Townsville regional store"
Give them your VIN .....that's all Austral Brisbane wanted.
Demand your local guy gets the bl dy product....Phone the Imported Tomorrow morning !
We're being messed around by people who don't know what they're doing Norto.
