I just purchased a set of Michelin Latitude Alpin 2 winter tyres for my Disco 4 (255/55R19 111V). I will mount them at the end of september and will let you know how they perform. They have the benefit of having the same speed rating as the original OEM summer / all-season tyres.

The tyres were excellent. I used them in both winter and summer conditions and never had an issue. Grip was good on winter roads. I recently sold the car with the tyres still on it.
