Removing rear light clusters |
|
I have my LED rear bulbs to fit but I'm wondering how to remove the rear cluster. Is it just a couple of screws?

As a matter of interest, where do you get LEDs from at good prices? Cheers

I went for www.ultraleds.co.uk as mentioned on this site. If you search the forum there is a discount code here too. They were easy to fit and look good.

I've just had my rear light units out to fit light guards. The two scews (poinetd out by Wiggs) are the obvious fixings. To remove the unit, you need to pull at the bottom of the light unit first to release the lower hidden nylon/plastic locator/gripper. After pulling it 10/15mm, it will release. Another 10/15mm will allow the upper one to release. Refitting is obviously the reverse, tipping the top of the unit under the panel ledge before trying to locate the grippers.
The cable loom is long enough for you work on it without disconnection, but disconnecting is simple with only one connecting plug unit.
Hope that this is helpfull
