Moved thread?
I notice the thread regarding the proposed new National Service scheme has disappeared from this forum - presumably into the 'politics' section. However, that sub-forum greets me with the message :
"Sorry, but only users granted special access can read topics in this forum."
So, who do I ask about being granted this 'special access'?

OK, so now this thread has moved too?! Pretty much every other forum I'm a member of has a function which notifies a member by PM if an moderation action is carried out on one of their posts. Why doesn't this one?
Anyway, I've now had a dig around and found the Groups link at the top, which reveals an option to join the 'politics access' group. So, now to wait and see if I'm allowed in...

I know there was a funny picture thread on here. It was not something I ever looked at TBH. However there is now a similar thread in the political section, that does contain many satirical political pictures.
After the previous poisonous atmosphere created with political arguments over Brexit, we decided to make politics an opt-in section.
Anything political that could cause any disagreement or argument is moved into there. This is now probably more than relevant with the GE looming.
Anyone can opt in.
I’ve just noticed this Opt-In is in the Groups section which is only available on the Desktop site. If your using the Mobile site it you will need to switch to opt in, then it will be there on Mobile.

Likely the post in the "Images that may be construed as humorous" was political, so has been merged into the politically flavoured version.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
