Load rating on D4 rims......940kg right ?.... |
|
These are stamped and certainly look genuine 2013 D4 wheels.......but I'm confused because the last picture appears to show a LR load rating of 930kg

The D4 has the same load rating as the D3 right ? "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

I'm not sure that the D3 & D4 do share the same wheel load ratings in the UK. It's confusing as ratings vary in some other countries, Aus for example. I have a vague memory of reading that the D4 load rating was actually lower than the D3's, but I could be mistaken.
Don't have time now to look it up, but I'm sure we'll get the answer soon.

Just checked in the german car configurator - yep, original rims of a 2013 D4 SE. So this 930kg rating seems valid (at least in germany).
