Duratec or Scorpion ATRs for road use? |
|
Hi
I have Grabbers on now which have worn fast and we've never been overly happy with. Previously we had Scorpion ATRs which were great.
When I bought the Grabbers I had been looking for the Duratecs but couldn't find any.
Most of our driving 99% is on road so good road handling is important, especially in the wet. Does anyone have experience of both and recommend one over the other?

-thread bump-
I don't have the answer to the question, but I was wondering the same thing. I am sure the Goodyear Duratracs are good in general off-road conditions, but are they good on-road too ?

Been running Duratrac's for the last couple of months(Purchased from site sponsor AJS 4X4)but i don't do lots of miles, simply brilliant off road and have been very good on the road so far, even in heavy rain greasy roads(after being dry for so long)
i haven't found them noisy, and seem very good under heavy breaking.
I'm sure some one else with more experience of the tyres will be a long shortly, but for what i do can't fault them MY24 Defender 90 X-Dynamic HSE
MY18 Disco 5 HSE Santorini Black Now Gone.
