Locking wheel nut cover

Hi I know this is going to seem Nieve but how do you get the locking wheel nut covers off. Mine have gone a bit taty and I would like to clean them up, I have tried pulling with grips, broke the tip off a big screw driver trying to prize it off. Is there a nack to this. Whistle

Oh right, so I just undo them with the locking wheel socket, then I can tidy them up. No wonder I couldn't pull them off. Thumbs Up stupid or what.

Are you sure you want to use them rather than regular nuts?

I'd put them in the bin.

Oh I've just sprayed them up chrome. What did you do, just buy 4 standard wheel nuts?
