Fob programming (not the usual one) |
|
Like most people i would guess,we had a "his"and "hers" system on the D3 whereby we each had a key programmed to move the seats to the favoured drivers position.
Same thing on the D4 except I never use the fob to unlock the car,i use keyless entry,as the key is usually on a lanyard in my pocket for security.
The car recognises that I have the smart key in my pocket,is there any way that I can get it coded to recognise which key I have on me,and move the seats to their pre-programmed drivers position ?
Not a big hassle to press the memory setting, just wondered "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

I'm pretty sure not ( I have a MY10) - maybe later versions might?

I asked the same question of a salesman in a dealership a couple of weeks back and his reply was that the fobs did not activate different D4 memory settings
