Yes very easy to do once you find the electrical connection, strip out the centre console and then look for a lump of foam which is wrapped around the electrical socket

And if you buy a used one, try and test it before you install it. I've had 2 with faulty fans....

You just need to connect 12v to the plug

Thumbs Up

And they run your battery flat if left on, happened to me yesterday, didn't have the fridge on for any reason seems I knocked the switch by accident when getting something out, so be careful, they DO NOT stop working when power gets low to ensure the car will start, I have a brand new LR battery so it's not that Wink

Luckily I was at home, had I been out and about I would have been really Censored sed off!

DT, mine is on a switched live so it doesn't stay on when the car is switched off. Not great if you're on a short journey as the drinks don't get too cold. Running for over 45 mins or so = cold drinks Thumbs Up

Flat batteries caused by fitting the D4 coolers to D3s has been covered on here a number of times, nothing new...

Thanks Steve, may have to do the same with mine, the switch is in a vulnerable place and can easily be activated by mistake, as there is no other warning light on the dash once the lid is shut you are at the mercy of your battery if left on, another stunning well thought out design by Land Rover Rolling Eyes

Land Rover didn't intend the D4 cooler to be fitted to D3s, so they can't be blamed for that one. Try again.

D3 cooler in a D3 will turn itself off when battery voltage drops below a preset level.
