New disco 3 home! What to do first?
Hi,
First post! had land rovers all my life moving up from defender to discovery 1 then 2 and now 3. Tried other alternative makes of 4x4 and nothing has come close. Worked in a ford garage but now spend my time putting out fires.
So thing is, 2005 disco s home last week and decided to join DISCO3.CO.UK. Loved all my previous land rovers and through time learned how to fix and maintain them. Already you have taught me how to turn off the seat belt audio warning, great when I am out shooting! And given me access to microcat for part numbers! Thankyou.
I guess I just want to ask if there is anything i should do straight away to improve the disco or things to watch out for? Ordered the outer window seals today which are all bubbling and the rear arch protection rubber strip that has started to sag.

Get a bank loan. Mods:
LR Chrome mirrors
De-tangoed,
LED rings in front lights,
Hids4u all external leds,
Rears removed,
D4 rear lights with hids4u reverse led,
Clear repeaters,
Side steps,
Mud guards,
Roof Rails - removed,
D4 Modded Grill,
20" stormers with grabbers,
EGR blanked and removed
Next: remap - BAS? Bluefin?

Bas re-map + egr blank + de-cat + silicone inter cooler hose + 2 stroke in the tank + headlight de-tango + etc Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where,s the f**king ceiling!!

I asked the same question 2 years ago when I got my D3, I'm still paying off the credit card......Man with no D3 anymore, but cant leave the forum....how sad.
Have the "big" 7 year 105k mile service been done - belts etc..?

Think I am going to fit in well here with some of the replies! Disco has only got 50k on the clock and full service history. its due the big 105k or 7 year service. Started reading about the 2 stroke in the fuel last night, really?
