V8 discs up front and standard rear?
Hi everyone. In a few weeks I am hoping to upgrade my front discs and bigger carriers etc. The question is should i do the rears too as they were only done 6k miles ago and seems a waste of money. How will it affect braking balance and stuff?
ThanksMods:

There was a discussion about this a while back, someone advised not changing the fronts only as it could affect brake balance but others disagreed of course
Do a search on V8 discs and I'm sure there will be plenty to read

I am about to do my fronts only, the diameter of the rear standard disks is greater than the standard fronts anyway, although with a smaller caliper. Where are you getting the carriers from? Let us know how you get on It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

It's totally fine with small rears and large fronts as the EBD wins.

Thanks. I should have explained a bit clearer, the rears are all standard still.
I will take photos and a simple write up. I'm sure I have seen one one here before too.Mods:

I did the fronts first, then about 6 months later the rears. Never had any issues over c.11k miles.
I didn't see the point in changing the rears until I'd worn out the old TDV6 discs.

I just did the fronts, and left rears standard - no issues whatsoever
