Land Rover Experience goes "BOING"!

Hi all.

Me & the missus went over to LRE (Chiltern) yesterday to be taught a bit more about our HSE. Fantastic guy called Jason took us round (I think he looks in so Hi Jason!). Everything was great, car became even better in my eyes (and SWMBO's who really wanted a BMW X5!) right up until I took it through to the second stage of the course where she went 'bong'! Reading the posts on here, I guess that many of you know that sound too well! The lights started flashing and the suspension went down with messages regarding HDC and special programmes off etc.
Well, using some of the knowledge gleaned from here, I suggested we should switch off and let the system 'reboot'. We did this and same thing, so Jason took us back to the level and tried again. It worked! ........ right up until I took it back towards the course again - same thing!

Ho hum, had to cut short the drive and limp back to base. Embarassed

I don't really mind this 'cos I know how great the car is, but, if I were a prospective buyer ......!

Never mind, perhaps I'll write to LR and complain - maybe I'll get a re-invitation to finsh the course. Laughing

The thing that I couldn't get out of my mind was, supposing this happend in the middle of the desert, or swamp in some far flung place, how do you deal with that? Are LR's becoming too reliant of techology? Hmmmmm

Oh, Jason, sorry I broke the car, hope the boss wasn't too upset! Rolling Eyes

Disconect the battery terminals and then re boot.
In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Unnecessary quote removed

I Wish it was Ziltch 'cos that is very close!

No, this one is way up north of the county, nearly in Milton Keynes.
