Rear Boot Handle WANTED

I'm in the process of fitting a rear view camera and have got stuck trying to unscrew the torx screws which hold on the rear handle - they are rusty and just turn without coming out. I assume I'm going to have to drill out the screws and this
will wreck the handle...

So I'm after a replacement in advance...with screws.

Thanks!

If they are turning you might be able to manage. If you take off the 10mm nuts you might be able screw the screws which will actually screw out the threaded part from the handle.
Hard to explain ,but maybe you get what I mean.....
Done it many a time now.

Thumbs Up

I have a brand new in the box one - it was a warranty replacement.that was then swapped for a coloured one.
Let me know if you need it.

I had the same problem when fitting a camera. But was able to pull the rear handle off the one rusted screw and the push it back on before installing the other nuts and screws.

If randell977 does not need the handle please can I have the next chance at buying it, as I have just broken the micro switch on my handle in the vain attempt at fixing my intermittent rear door releasing trouble.
Thanks
Martin

Thanks for the advice and offer, I did it but broke one hex screw. As you mention it is a screw in a screw but it's not great! So done it now and it looks ok so please offer the handle to Martin if you would like to.

Cheers Randell977 glade you got it back together. Just don't stick a big screwdriver in the micro switch on the handle if you have trouble opening the tailgate. It's not a good idea.
