spare blubs
hi just a thought off to france at the end of the month also got a new d4 the french law says you have to carry spare bulbs how will that work when the lights are led david race
AFAIK the law states should you have a filed bulb, you are able to replace the bulb on demand, I.e. carry spares, the likelyhood of LED failure is low, certainly for the entire lamp set Altox GSM FBH controller thread

Quite right Beanie. It is not an obligation to have a full set with you. What is an obligation however, is to be able to change a faulty bulb on the roadside. The little men in blue (smurfs I think they are) will only stop you and fine you for lack of bulbs if and only if you have a bulb out of order. If they stop you for any oth reason, they cannot fine you for not carrying spare bulbs.
I just like to have what I need in the car just for safety.
