Not sure if under the right area but off to France in August, however this year we have our one year German Shepherd to take as well.
The question is to those that have taken their dogs to France, is what water have you given them bottled or tap ?D4 2010 HSE Santorini Black

I've also used Evian to replace the water lost by the engine due to leaky gasket on VM diesel powered RRC.
French water is fine to drink its a long time since there were issues, we have a house in Brittany and drink tap water all the time, we only buy bottles to put them in the fridge as they are so cheap

Tap water is fine. Both me and the dog drink it though not out of the same bowl

Looking at some of the stuff my dog drinks when he's out on walkies, I certainly wouldn't worry about him drinking foreign tap water.
Dogs have a good sense of whether water is OK or not.

Poppy was definitely looser! when she drank the foreign tap water - when she drank out of the water in the car for a few days she was better.
I don't understand it either, as she drinks and eats all sorts of rubbish when she is at home.
Not worth worrying about though - just ensure you have lots of poo bags Duncan

Camped on sites all over France for years, always drank the tap water, never had a problem.
I would have a problem paying for over-priced bottled water though.

Dogs lick their own bums - don't think it will make any difference what water they drink?!
