£730 for a 12 month Approved D4 warranty
Good deal or not? The dealer claims that this is his cost, is he telling the truth?
This is a 2nd year deal which comes in addition to the "free" 12 month Approved warranty.

So £730 for full a 12 months Approved warranty with Road side assistance does indeed sound like a deal given how much dealerships charge per hour! Going for it just for the piece of mind.

Well mine has been well used sofar.
Egr valves
Transmission
Torque converter
Transfer box
Transfer switch pack
To be honest I think all it needed was the torque converter, but I have a new car now for a modest outlay, and you can pay it monthly by dd with no interest. Don't know if they will let me keep it next year.

think there are two levels of lr warranty basic and advanced....i pay £910 p/year at £91 monthly.
think the £730 would be basic
had my money worth so far this year with new steering rack and many suspension parts.sad really we should need this ive only done 22k miles

Dealer tells me it is the same version as the 1st year, ie, full approved & assistance.
Retail price of £1060

£1060 with assistance sounds about right.
what im finding is that if the problem is difficult to find or intermtent there not keen on wasting time trying find it..
if its broke great thats straightforward and they can repair and get paid

Agree with the above they don't pay for diagnostic, so if the part is not falling off or computer says what's wrong it's quite a pain

Whilst it ties me into them, I'm tempted by a 3yr warranty for £1500 from The Marshall group. Includes LR assist, and pretty much everything else in the LR warranty.
