long time I've been here, but yes, I'm still alive and my beloved car is still with me 8)
I finally made the decision to have my winter tyres on my original rims and have another set of wheels.
It took me several years to recover (mentally) from the bad experience I had with the broken BB6 Performance Rim, and in times like this, you realise time flies
Well, what has been the choice ?
Yeah, I gave it away with the subject,
MAK Raptor 5 rims with BF Goodrich KM2 265/70R17 tyres
I knew I was going to make someone at home quite jealous (missus - and yes, she is jealous, she even wanted to swap her car with mine )
I was kinda worried about the size, they're slightly too big (stick a bit out at the sides) but after all, I get my yearly road approval during winter and as such, my winter tyres are mounted
Perhaps the tyres could be added in the wiki, dunno ...
I didn't ask for the white letters at the outside and din't want them to remount the tyres since it would have taken much more time .. seems like I'll need to get back off road and hope for bad weather (lots of mud )

May I log your travel bug even though I've only seen it on a photo?
Very impressed with the vehicle and tyres. If only I had some spare cash.......

I was suspecting there would be geocachers around here
sure you may log the TB, btw, you'll get to see where I took the vehicle to ... and guess what ..
after all, you wouldn't be the first to discover the cache-vehicle on photo's
I do like the look and didn't even need lots of time to get to that point
The tyres are (obviously) louder than my previous A/T and it looks like I'll be needing to change my attitude a bit when it comes to speed-bumps
I didn't notice any change when applying a full extension of the wheels to the left or right, although the space is quite narrow, so they might rub in certain occasions.D4

Indeed it is.
Should be about 9 years ago though.
We went to the highland wildlife centre a couple times since though. No wonder as we usually spend our summer holidays in Scotland

Bought me a D3 just to be on the same forum like you Nessie! How is Ynka??

laadindex is goed
maar mijn autokeuring is in januari/februari en dan liggen de winterbanden erop ...
het grote voordeel van die snelheidsindex: ik rij veeeeeeel rustiger nu
