just did it on friday.
permagrin is bigger.
just emphasise when you get there that you are interested in the terrain response and don't need the road drive.
pond was flooded when i was there so no wading.
but some good hills to go up and down, and in reverse.
gives you confidence in what you can and cant do with your disco.
instructors do quiz you on whats happening to make sure you understand why youre doing what youre doing.
and the pivot point of steering is at your wing mirrors
i need another voucher

Whole day in a D3, two half days in a FFRR, half day in a Defender and a half day in a D4.
Different instructor every time and learnt something new every time whether it was as a new owner or as a relatively experienced disco 3/4 owner. They will ask if you want to go on the road, just say no. The full day is good, in the afternoon you go out onto another estate with spectacular scenery and good tracks. Totally worth it, even with having a defender to play in. Joined the BMWX5 45e group

Have done it three times in the past, all before actually owning a Land Rover.
I was amazed at what these vehicles could do on the Dunkeld tracks. Instructors knowledgeable and nice with it. Cracking setting.
And yes I would go back again given the chance. Colin

I did it in a Disco back in February which was very good. I didn't do the road part as I'd just driven nigh on 200 miles in my own Disco 4 to get there. I did the Skipton one a few years ago but the Dunkeld set up is far better. Unfortunately the wading pond was flooded so I couldn't have a play in that. There were plenty of other good
I'm going back there later this year to have a go in the new Range Rover Sport. 2015 Discovery 4 HSE Corris with Blackpack
