Hi all
Anyone have any idea how much it costs/how long it takes to replace fan belt on D3 V6 SE? I am in north shore of Sydney - just wondering whether to go to my local stealer or worth the trek to go to an indy.
Thanks

Go to an indie it would be cheaper. But if you are having it serviced at the dealers anyway do it at the same time.

thanks caver - i already had the service for 7 years and i had flagged a squeak but they said it would be ok for now until next service and they would have had to order the part from Melb. i called yesterday and was quoted $120 all up from Alto in St Leonards which i thought was reasonable.
In lower north shore btw

Alto are pretty good, price is ok for a stealers.
Try Cremorne Prestige at Artarmon, they know LRs. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

thats what i figured - mind you they charged nearly $500 labour for minor O service and as it only has 80,000kms did a 7 year service instead so no oil changes or filters. they also fixed the a/c fart and other checks.

Not personally.
Been recommended on here and AULRO.

For D3 (out of all warranties) I use British and Swedish at N. Narrabeen.
For D4 (still to have first service) I use Alto and also did for D3 until extended warranty ran out. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
