D4 IID Tool
Gap Diagnostics have released the IID tool for the D4 finally ...... does anybody know of anybody stocking it?
I've searched various websites & I'm assuming nobody has updated yet as only the D3 tool seems to get mentioned. I can start contacting companies direct but just wondered if anybody knew Nick

I have the iidtool running the D4 software. All you need is the tool and then assign it to your D4.

Britpart supplies the dealers and are the main agent. Hopefully they should be able to help you.

If you are referring to EAS Control from GAP, I don't believe it has been released for the D4/LR4 yet.Umberto B

Just as general info: the IIDTool w/o bluetooth for the 2010 and 2011 D4 does an update to the cluster SW which changes the look of the display ever so slightly to that of the 2012> D4 (see pics here http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic83686.html?highlight=iid ).
And, while the diagnostic functionality for both the bluetooth and non-bt version is the same, there will be new features coming to the app for the bluetooth version... 8) www.gap-diagnostic.com

I had just convinced myself the standard version would be fine & I didn't need the Bluetooth version!
How does the BT version work? I understand the normal version connects thru the OBD port & is controlled by the CC switches.Nick

So does the BT version, the box looks identical, it connects to the car the same way and can still be operated with the cruise control buttons if desired, or if a BT device is not available. However, you may pair a compatible device (Bluetooth 4.0) and use an app in lieu of the steering wheel switches to navigate the IIDTool menus. That's the difference for now, although like Steve said the new interface and apps open up possibilities to add features.Umberto B
