I know this is Freelander 2 question but Disco3 people know everything so I'm sure you'll know.....
I've posted this on Freelander 2 but I know I'll get THE answer here...
I'm on disco 3 but my wife has a Freelander 2 can I key code a new fob with a gap IID Tool?
Both remotes are failing on a 08 Freelander 2 and I've ordered a new remote. We have had to use the key on the passenger door for the past few days
The IID Works wonders on the Discovery 3.... Will it key code the Freelander?
Thanks
Eamonn

Both remotes failing, sounds like the batteries are dieing, you can replace the batteries with a bit of soldering, details on FL2. Don't think you will reprogramme a fob with the IID Tool on the FL2, stand to be corrected though, you cannot reprogramme a used fob either, must be a new one.

Best to ask GAP customer support, you will get a reply today. You will certainly need an extra vehicle license from GAP for the FL if you do not already have one. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
